What it is?

Such designs are gaining immense popularity today, as they are a combination of conventional cooking or heating ovens with small fireplaces. The size of such a system is notable for its small dimensions, but at the same time they are characterized by high functionality, which makes it possible to mount them in almost any home.

Several advantages of the fireplace stove should be highlighted:

  1. Such a structure can be used as a source of heat for the whole house or a separate room, and it is also possible to prepare food at the same time. The heating and cooking stove is an original design that will not only fit into the interior, but also make life much more convenient.
  2. Saving gas or electricity. Furnaces operate on wood or coal, which makes it possible to replace more expensive heat sources with such material.
  3. The fireplace stove is a very beautiful design that can also perform a decorative function in the house.

Such designs can operate in 2 main modes, which provides such functionality:

  • When the damper is closed in fireplace mode, the resulting smoke flows out into the street through a direct channel. This eliminates the heating of the walls, which practically do not give off heat to the inside of the room.
  • The oven mode involves the movement of smoke through special side channels, the path to which is limited by a special damper. Thus, the gas does not immediately go out into the street, but is retained inside the housing, while heating the walls. After that, the walls already give off heat to the inside of the room.

Varieties

Such designs are quite common and have a very complex structure that allows you to solve several different problems. This led to the emergence of a large number of heating stoves, among which several of the most popular can be distinguished:

  • Kuznetsov's fireplace stove;
  • "Dutch";
  • "Swede";
  • "finca";
  • bell;
  • Masyutin, etc.

They all have their own distinctive features, but their principle of operation is identical. Today, you can increasingly find ovens with a bread chamber, which allow you to cook food and bake various drugs, giving them an original taste.

We purchase everything you need

The process of constructing a fireplace stove is a rather difficult task, as it requires certain experience and skills in working with similar materials. But, nevertheless, it is possible to build it, like a street barbecue with your own hands, but this requires adherence to a certain technology. It is very important to choose the right design for the stove that you are going to build. It is also important to purchase the necessary materials.

So, for example, for a standard fireplace stove you will need the following set:

  • refractory bricks;
  • boiler;
  • clay;
  • door, grate and smoke flap;
  • mantel, etc.

Foundation construction algorithm

This stage of the construction of the fireplace stove is one of the most basic, as it provides the structure with a solid and reliable foundation.Foundation arrangement can be broken down into several sequential steps:

  1. Initially, the formwork is formed. The depth of the pit is selected individually and depends on the type of structure that you plan to place on the foundation.
  2. When the formwork is ready, reinforcement is laid inside and everything is poured with a concrete solution. To prevent cracking, all this is covered with plastic wrap.
  3. After 12 hours, the formwork is again laid out on top of the formed frame, which will be used as a support for the furnace. The second layer of the foundation is laid out using concrete and rubble stone.

Example of ordering during construction

Fireplace stoves, as already mentioned, can have a different structure, on which their shape and number of rows depend. Here is the standard ordering for such constructions:

  1. The first 2 rows form the base of the oven, on which the rest of the system will rest. The 3rd row involves laying out the smoke channel, cleaning and blowing.
  2. Rows 4 through 5 are used to form the channel.
  3. The bottom of the firebox is laid out from the 6th to the 9th rows. Please note that it is advisable to use fireclay bricks. On the last layer, the grate is installed.
  4. Beginning with the 10th and ending with the 12th row, lay out the very hole of the firebox. Rows 13-14 are used to form the door and vault. On the 15th layer, the last specified structure is leveled, and rows 17-18 are the overlap of the furnace.
  5. On the 19th row, the left channel damper is installed, and all the next 7 layers are used to equip the walls and the chimney. The 27th row is intended for the installation of a special plate, which will be used to support the entire structure.
  6. The finishing layers are rows 28-30, with the help of which an overlap is formed.

It should be understood that this scheme is relatively simple and represents only one of the possible options. So, for example, a combined stove or a small one for a garden house will have different designs.

The construction of the furnace is completed with the installation of a boiler, a door and other auxiliary components. If desired, the structure can be additionally decorated with tiles or other attributes.
