A one-story house 7 by 8 meters in area occupied is a solution for consumers whose budget for suburban construction at 2021 prices does not exceed a million rubles. It is possible to build a good building without getting involved in a credit history.

Advantages and disadvantages

Like any country house, a 56 m2 building can be built from any building materials. The project of such a house involves a variety of solutions - some of them depend not only on the paying capacity of the future owner, but also on a number of other features, for example, the relief and geological factors of the area, the territory itself, as well as climatic conditions. The rest is decided by the consumer himself.

The house is suitable for a childless couple or a small family with one or two children. The building plan allows you to make sure of this - standard plans are designed for the construction of a house with or without an attic. The suburban construction market offers dozens of standard projects for a given square footage.

It is easy to add a utility area to the house, for example, a garage with a workshop - as well as create these two rooms in the basement, going down to 5 m below the ground line.

The 7x8 house can be built in the old fashioned style - with a brick Russian stove, using frame-monolithic technology made of brick or aerated concrete.

A modern country house with walls made of foam blocks is the most common option: gas silicate blocks without a monolithic reinforced concrete frame contribute to the best heat retention in winter.

Square footage does not play a role here: the structure of any footage - at least 7 * 8, at least 6 * 4, at least 12 * 10 - in general, it does not differ in high or low heat losses. The fact is that the closed space inside is protected from heat loss equally, regardless of the useful (internal) quadrature of the structure. But the costs of maintaining the temperature of +20 inside, when "overboard", for example, -20, increase in proportion to the heated area.

The key to capital construction is a solid foundation. The best option is tape-monolithic (tape-columnar): it is universal, suitable for any dense soil of varying degrees of heaving (during freezing).

It doesn't matter what the walls are made of - wood, stone and brick, gas silicates, experimental materials - on such a foundation, both the lightest and the heaviest structure will stand for 50-80 years.

A common option is to use steel profiled pipes and corners with thick (from 3 mm) walls. From them, in turn, the frame is welded.

As lining layers, wooden boards of any type of wood are used, with a thickness of 3 cm. As beams under the floor - and for the attic-ceiling ceiling - timber from 15 * 15 cm is used.

Mineral wool is laid between the outer and inner lining. It has a double-sided waterproofing film. Boards and beams are impregnated with bio- and fire-retardant liquid components, and from the outside (from the outside and inside after assembly) they are painted over with waterproof varnish or special paint.

The advantage of this method is the gradual construction, for example, with insufficient funding due to a noticeable limited income and the burden from other cash expenses of the future owner. So, having built the foundation, you can stretch the construction of the main structure, the final assembly and finishing for several years without a noticeable loss of quality. For many "self-builders" this scheme fully justifies itself.

Options for typical layouts

Typical plans include projects that do not have specific differences that distinguish them from the general mass. For example, to attach a balcony with a pile base to such a house, to enclose the house along the perimeter with an unglazed or, on the contrary, a capital terrace - not the solutions that were originally laid down in the plan: they can be implemented much later, say, in ten years.

So, one of the typical one-story projects is no attic - on the plan looks like this. The entrance to the house is through a 9.9 m2 terrace - the guest will immediately enter the kitchen-living room with a square of 24.3 m2. As in the studio apartment, it serves as both a hall and a hallway - through it you can get into a bedroom with an area of 6.4 m2. The adjacent room, marked as a sauna on the plan, can be eliminated - then the bedroom will increase by 6.3 m2 and total 12.7 m2, which is already a decent, albeit elongated living space. Or you can move the wall closer to the bathroom - then this compartment will be equipped for a boiler room and will be 2 m2

Accordingly, the area of a bedroom in this case will reach 10.7 m2, which is comparable to bedrooms in apartment buildings built in the second half of the 20th century. The area of the bathroom will be 4.5 m2. The terrace can be turned into a veranda or its walls can be built up and turned into a separate "walk-through" room, where you can, for example, dry clothes or equip a workshop.

Attic plan might look like this. The rooms here do not have a nearly square shape, but are rectangular, elongated. The rooms are not designated initially - it is not a problem to adapt them for certain functions. The veranda is 24.89 m2 and has an L-shaped arrangement, most of it is a compartment covered by a canopy, it is decorated in a modern and sophisticated style. The house is completely wooden - it is built from a log or a bar. The main entrance to the house is from the side that has a shorter length - after passing through the door, guests and owners enter a hall with an area of 13.09 m2, with a staircase to the second floor

The main room - it can be a kitchen-dining room - stretches across the whole house from one of its sides and is equal to 17.92 m2. On the second floor there is a second room, which could be a living room. It is located above the rest of the first floor - excluding the veranda on it - and occupies 31.57 m2. The balcony - or rather, something that remotely resembles a loggia, occupies a space of 4.59 m2.

To turn the second option - with an attic - into a standard project, you will need to divide the space on the ground floor into two bedrooms.

Part of the veranda area should be allocated for the boiler room and shower room. So that in the cold season the shower room is not actually cut off from the warm space of the rooms, the veranda is completely built up for a full-fledged room, insulated and glazed. The room on the second floor is divided into two parts, in one of the parts of which - overlooking the balcony - a kitchen-living room is arranged, while the second is reserved for the second bedroom. The total area will be 88 m2.

Examples of individual plans

An individual house plan can be similar to most typical projects, redone at your own discretion. The example below has the following characteristics.

The main entrance with a porch in the form of a small rectangular awning - 2.8 m2. The porch extends beyond the main perimeter

Image
Image

A bedroom of 8.5 m2 and a kitchen of 8.8 m2 can be combined into one room, turning it into a bedroom. Or, as in the first example, move the wall on the plan, leaving 2 m2 for the boiler room. In the latter case, the bedroom area will be 15.3 m2. Move the kitchen to the living room - to the side bordering the bathroom

Bathroom - 6.4 m2

Image
Image

Hall - 3.3 m2, initially without a partition on the plan. A partition with a door is installed - and the hall space is zoned

The living room is being re-equipped to fit the kitchen - now it is the kitchen-living room - the area of the room will be 14.2 m2 on the plan, that is, it will remain unchanged

Doors to the terrace or veranda change to narrower ones

If there is a desire to increase the square footage of the house and thereby change the project even more, then this space is rebuilt, glazed and insulated, and the living room can be transferred on the plan to this place. The kitchen-living room becomes the kitchen-dining room.
