The BORK trademark has a line of household mixers represented by several models. The company does not pursue assortment, but focuses on product quality. The catalog contains information on two rows: the 800th series of planetary submersible mixers and the 700th series of manual devices for beating dough and creams.
Manual
The range of hand mixers includes the standard E700 and B782. The first is a conventional mixer with attachments, the second can function as a blender using a puree attachment.
BORK E700
The 250 W model has 3 types of attachments and operates at 9 speeds. A distinctive feature is the presence of a timer up to 15 minutes. True, it is not clear why you need a timer on a hand mixer. Maybe so as not to start the kitchen and know how long it takes to whip the cream?
The set includes attachments-scrapers for liquid dough, whisks for cream, kneaders for thick dough. All this is stored in a plastic container on which the motor unit is placed.
Despite the cost of the mixer, its body is made of plastic coated with a metal finish. On the case there is a backlit display for monitoring the operating mode and technical condition of the device. Additionally, it has overheating protection and pause without resetting the timer.
The device weighs 1.7 kg, the standard cord length is 1.5 meters. There is no separate compartment for the cord; it is proposed to roll it up and pack it in a container for nozzles. Not very hygienic. The device was made in China.
BORK B782
Thanks to this 2-in-1 device, the manufacturer offers to save space in the kitchen. In terms of power, the model does not differ from its younger brother - 250 W, the number of nozzles for the mixer is 3 pieces (kneader, whisk, anti-sprinkler nozzle), a plastic blender leg for whipping vegetables, purees, curds. This model has only three speeds.
All attachments are made of steel. The beaters have 4 paired contours, which better oxygenate the cream than standard ones. The anti-splash nozzle allows you to knead dough and cream in shallow containers without spilling the contents over the walls.
The mixer weighs 1.5 kg, the balanced center of gravity does not allow hands to get tired during operation, the stand at the end makes it easy to store the device in an upright position. The body is made of aluminum and plastic, the country of origin is Switzerland.
Stationary
Planetary mixers of the firm are presented in two models BORK E800 and 810.
BORK E800
A popular model with high customer ratings. This device is equipped with a 1000 W motor, standard for this type of device. It has 12 speed modes, 4 attachments for different products, a 4.7 liter stainless steel bowl.
The mixer weighs 7.9 kg, its body is made of metal, and the cord length is 1 meter. The position of the mixer is predetermined - near the power source, which is not always convenient. There is no storage compartment for attachments.
The mixer is equipped with a protective cover for the bowl, which prevents accidentally sticking your fingers there during operation and prevents the cream from splashing.
According to user reviews, the model copes with any type of dough, including bread dough, the main thing is to adhere to the recommendations for the speed of kneading. After a thick dough, the bowl is difficult to remove from the stand, however, such a strong fixation does not allow it to jump and leave during operation.

BORK E810
This model takes into account the wishes and comments of users of the previous model. The main characteristics remain the same: 1000 W of power, a metal case with a metal bowl of 4.7 liters, 12 operating speeds, 4 nozzles. Of the new functions, a timer has been added, which can be set from 1 minute to 1 hour, 4 operating modes and the power cord has slightly lengthened - up to 1.15 meters.
The planetary mixer allows you to smoothly adjust the speed during operation, and also has a constant speed control mode. The timer is set to the time both in the forward and in the countdown mode. The electronic "brain" of the device itself selects the engine operating mode and mixing speed, depending on the density of the dough and the amount of ingredients.
The package includes nozzles:
- for whipping liquid mixtures - eggs, cream, cocktails;
- dough mixer - interferes with high-density dough for bread, pizza and pies;
- confectionery attachment for light mixtures - creams and purees;
- culinary specialist - interferes with the dough from confectionery mixtures, cookies, allows you to make icing.
The good news is that the mixer is quiet enough for such a high power and practically does not create vibrations during operation. The exception is too steep dough. In addition, a splash guard is provided.
The display on the housing gives information on four modes of operation (kneading, stirring, whipping and foaming) and shows codes for pause activation, overheating protection mode, engine overload protection.
How to choose
To decide which type of mixer you need, you need to determine the time it takes to bake each week. If you rarely bake - once every couple of weeks, then it makes no sense to take bulky professional models of planetary mixers.
The hand mixer is convenient because it can be used with any type of cookware except Teflon.… It can be immersed in containers of different depths, the mixer is not tied to the stand, the degree of immersion depends only on the user. It is compact, easy to store in a closet, and does not take up space on the table. Its cord is longer than that of stationary models.
The disadvantage usually manifests itself in a low power - it will not be possible to knead the dough into bread with it. Hand fatigue from prolonged work, although BORK hand mixers have an offset center of gravity, which reduces the strain on the wrist. When interrupting work, you need to think about where to put the mixer so as not to stain the table. BORK has equipped its models with a stand at the end.
Stationary planetary models - a lifesaver for those who bake to order or almost constantly indulge their family with homemade bread, rolls and pies. Their great advantage is their high power and, accordingly, a reduction in the mixing time from 10 to a couple of minutes. In addition, mixers allow you to add food directly during the dough preparation process through the hole in the lid. At the same time, the hands remain free.
A special mode for all types of mixer is turbo mode. It is used for short-term mixing of ingredients at the maximum speed allowed. The operating time of this mode is no more than 5 seconds, because the load on the motor is colossal. It is used mainly to eliminate lumps in dough or puree.
The pulse mode for accelerating the rotation of the blades is used to achieve the best result due to a sharp change in the speed of the rim. The harder you press the button, the faster the speed. The hostess can adjust the degree of grinding or stirring by pressing a finger.
Both stationary and hand-held Bork mixers are reliable devices with the most necessary functionality.
