The size of the chandelier itself is also very important. If you choose the inappropriate dimensions of this device, you can spoil the proportions of the room. A large lamp will "eat up" the space, while a small one will look rather meager. So, for a room of 3x3 m, a chandelier with a diameter of 60 cm is suitable.
To avoid such mistakes, designers use a formula to correctly calculate the diameter of the ceiling lights. To do this, you need the half-perimeter of the room, taken in centimeters, divided by 1000.
When choosing a chandelier, it is also worth considering that with its help you can visually correct the proportions of the room. If you want to "stretch" the room, then you should give preference to a horizontally elongated chandelier shape. Color also influences the choice of Spanish chandeliers.
