Modern trends in interior decoration involve the use of natural materials, one of which is Barlinek parquet board, which is popular all over the world. The history of production of the company of the same name from Poland began in the post-war years with the production of sawn timber.
Currently, the company's products are supplied to more than 45 countries around the world, have excellent reviews and are of high quality, perfect appearance and affordable price.
Barlinek parquet board is a very famous and demanded floor covering thanks to the following undeniable advantages:
- absolute environmental safety of products is achieved through the use of natural raw materials. Unlike laminate flooring, parquet board has a warm surface and regulates indoor humidity well;
- high resistance to mechanical stress. The surface of the floorboards is not subject to scratches and chips, and the board itself has a strong and impact-resistant structure. The coating is repairable: if necessary, it is possible to replace individual damaged areas and restore the varnish coating, for which the manufacturer gives a guarantee for a period of 12 years;
- a huge assortment of products with a wide variety of colors and textures of natural wood provides a wide range of coverage options for any room. A well-thought-out pricing policy and competent logistics allow us to produce high-quality products at low prices, which further increases its popularity;
- high moisture resistance and heat resistance of the board allow you to use it in any conditions without restrictions. Thanks to the special locking structure, the coating can be laid independently.
Before proceeding with the manufacture of parquet boards, the material is dried in special chambers. This is done so that the board does not deform or crack during operation. Then the wood is cut and degreased. After that, the blanks are primed and prepared for assembly, which is carried out on German high-tech equipment.
A parquet board is made of three layers, which are located at an angle of 90 degrees relative to each other - crosswise. The outer layer is made of selected wood, which is coated on top with oil or varnish. The bottom two layers are coniferous wood sheets. This design provides increased strength and stiffness of the coating and neutralizes the negative reaction of wood to excess moisture and temperature differences. The floorboards do not creak, dry out or swell.
The base of the top layer is a 3.5 mm thick wood sheet containing the wood grain pattern and the desired color. The middle layer has the largest thickness at 7 mm and is responsible for the strength and elasticity of the board. Make it from larch or pine.
The bottom layer has a stabilizing function, is made of softwood veneer and has a thickness of 3.5 mm.
The upper protective layer is made from a double acrylic coating, which is fixed using ultraviolet rays. This is followed by three layers of primer, also fixed with UV rays. Each subsequent layer is not applied until the previous one dries. Thanks to this, the color of the coating becomes deep, and the protective coating is strong and durable. Such a surface is not afraid of household chemicals and excessive moisture.
In addition to varnish, natural oil impregnation is used in the manufacture of parquet boards. After oil treatment, the surface acquires a noble appearance, the wood pattern becomes deep and expressive, and the dust and dirt repellent properties of the material increase.

Barlinek parquet boards are available in one-, two- and three-strip design. Single-strip models consist of a solid canvas and are much more expensive than composite ones. Such products look very solid and presentable and resemble a massive board. The floorboards of two- and three-strip models consist of 2 or 3 narrow lamellas and are distinguished by a wealth of patterns and colors. Externally, composite structures resemble parquet. Such models are produced in a wide range of colors and a wide variety of designs.
The number of knots is a decorative element and can be large, medium and small. Brushing is also a popular type of board design and consists in creating artificial abrasions and general aging of the surface. Such models are ideal for Scandinavian, rustic and vintage styles.
The unique design of the lock allows you to quickly mount and dismantle the cover. Parquet boards are laid in two ways. The first - the most simple, consists in assembling the coating using a locking system. Each panel has a groove and a tongue, so that the cover is assembled like a constructor. A cork or corrugated board backing evens out floor imperfections and height differences, allowing ideally lay the parquet board evenly and maximizes its service life.
The second method is more labor intensive and involves gluing each floorboard to the subfloor. At the same time, the resonance of the coating, which occurs when the floorboards resonate, is significantly reduced.
A prerequisite is an absolutely flat floor surface, otherwise the parquet board will quickly fail and require repair.
This is a more reliable and durable option, but it is recommended to perform it by experienced laymen. The parquet board has a high heat resistance, thanks to which it can be laid on the floor with any type of heating.

Barlinek flooring is made from coniferous and exotic species of trees. We use an array of acacia, badi, wenge, merbau and unique hoist wood The originality of this tree species lies in the illusion of glow and luxurious texture of the coating, as well as in the high performance properties of the wood.
In total, the production involved more than 20 varieties of wood. The most common are oak and beech. For surface finishing, glossy, matt and semi-matt varnish, as well as natural oil are used. The use of various combinations of colors and coatings allows for a huge variety of shades and texture depths.
