There is another type of boxes that have an even groove. Here, so that the legs do not interfere, special niches are made for them, where they hide. To install such a socket, it is necessary to ensure that the legs are in the niches when installing it into the hole. Then the box is turned so that the foot is vertical, and the foot from the lower screw protrudes above the body itself. To prevent it from changing its position, it must be tightened with a screw.
Next, you need to turn the socket box one hundred and eighty degrees, and pull the second paw out of the niche. And only then both legs stretch out and fix the box.
Installing the socket and switch
In order to install a switch or outlet, first you need to de-energize the wiring and shorten it so that there is a margin of up to fifteen centimeters in length. Then you need to clean up its ends. The upper part is removed from the switch and the bolts are loosened. You must not confuse them when fixing. This also applies to three-wire wiring, which has a ground wire. If there is no special contact for it in the outlet or switch, then it simply hides inside the box. Before that, it must be well insulated.
When connecting the neutral and phase wires, it is important to secure the bolts well on the contacts. After the connection is made, it is necessary to install the inside of the socket or switch into the socket. Then it is fixed with screws.
The installation of water sockets allows you to connect the supply water supply to the necessary devices. The principle of operation of such an element of the electrical network is to transfer the pressure of water from the water supply to a specific tap. That allows you to change the mixers at any time. There are different types of water sockets.
- Single, which are used to connect only one trunk.
- Solid double - they are used to connect two lines together at once.
- Double with embossed board. Such water sockets are installed at some distance from each other. They are attached to a special bracket.
The materials required for water sockets are non-ferrous and ferrous metals. To install them, you need the distance between the ends to be at least fifteen centimeters. The diameter of the hole in the wall must match the size of the part you want. It is imperative that before starting work, it is necessary to mark, and then drill the holes. There should be three of them.
Further, rubber is glued to the reverse surface of the water outlet and only then it is attached to the wall and tightened with self-tapping screws. The space that has formed between the wall and the outlet can be filled with putty.
