Often in life one has to deal with emergency situations in the form of pipe leaks, holes in the radiator and gas tank, etc. To quickly fix such a nuisance, it is recommended to use an adhesive mixture (cold welding) Abro Steel. It is well known in the construction market and has received positive reviews from numerous buyers, as it provides a reliable and high-quality connection.

Features of the
Cold welding is a unique adhesive made from steel powder and epoxy putty. These components are thoroughly mixed during the production process, after which they enter into a chemical reaction with the hardener, forming a universal mass that is resistant to high temperatures and aggressive environments. Despite the fact that the material contains a metal filler, in the solidified state it is absolutely neutral to alkalis, acids, water and does not conduct electricity well.
Cold welding begins to show its performance characteristics a few minutes after it is mixed and applied to damaged parts. The homogeneous mass is ready for use immediately, it is filled with all hollow areas and cracks, after which it gradually reaches strength and after one hour it finally solidifies.

Then the surface treated with the mixture can be machined, taking into account the following features:
- joints covered with adhesive are unstable to shock deformations;
- cold welding dries quickly, and within an hour after its application, it will perfectly withstand such influences as tension and compression;
- parts glued together can provide little resistance when bending and twisting;
- the solidified mixture does not deform during compression.

Cold welding should be carried out under normal temperature conditions, as its decrease or increase can slow down the solidification process. In addition, it is strictly forbidden to add other components to the glue that accelerate solidification. Increased concentration of the hardener will affect the physical properties of the material and it will lose its original characteristics.
The adhesive is usually white, but black welding is also available for repairing breakouts and through holes.

Abro Steel high temperature cold welding has several advantages:
- allows you to create high-quality connections that are resistant to heavy loads;
- used for gluing any solid elements;
- suitable for work in adverse conditions;
- strength and durability;
- convenient packaging and ease of use.

As for the shortcomings, there are none. If the mixture is properly stored and all operating rules are followed, then the components will not lose their performance and will ensure reliable fastening of the parts.
Scope of application
Abro Steel is a universal adhesive ideal for bonding homogeneous non-ferrous metals, ferrous metals, wood, glass, ceramics and plastics. As a rule, it is used in the repair of automotive, swimming equipment, to eliminate bursts and cracks in pipelines. In addition, the adhesive mixture is indispensable for the repair of cabinet furniture and the restoration of concrete or stone coatings.
With the help of such material, it is possible not only to eliminate breakdowns in the autoradiator and the car engine, but also to carry out reliable sealing of the body, metal parts and batteries. During the repair of floating facilities, the hull of the vessel is treated with an adhesive, and the tuning elements and instrument parts are also attached. Cold welding is also in great demand in everyday life, it is purchased for the repair of bathtubs, sinks, toilet bowls and decorative finishes. In addition, if a pipeline breakthrough happened in the apartment, then you cannot do without emergency repairs. In this case, the craftsmen use an adhesive mixture and restore the water supply systems, applying a mass to the damaged joints.

We can say that cold welding of the Abro Steel trademark is considered a multifunctional product that is characterized by high quality and helps to instantly eliminate emergency situations in any conditions.
How to use?
Before applying an adhesive (for example, AS 224), it is necessary to carefully prepare the work surface to be repaired, this will ensure a strong and high-quality adhesion. The damaged areas must be degreased and cleaned from chemical contamination and paint. In the event of urgent elimination of holes and sealing of gaps, preliminary measures can be dispensed with, but in such situations the quality of the connections will be lower.
This also applies to the repair of liquid-filled containers when the mixture is applied below the surface of the water. Due to the inert properties of the material, it can be used to seal aquariums, boilers, yachts and boats without preliminary preparation of damaged areas, creating a strong anchorage in the water.

Once the surface has been cleaned and sanded, a simple instruction is followed
- The required amount of weld is cut off. This should be done perpendicularly, then you need to moisten your hands with water and mix the composition well until a homogeneous mass is obtained. The mixture will heat up a little while stirring, so you should not be intimidated.
- The mixture is applied to the base and given the desired shape. If the repair is carried out under water, then it should simply be pressed against the surface and wait until it locks in place.

Similar actions can be performed to restore threaded connections, since the composition of cold welding includes fillers from steel filings. In this case, a layer of the mixture is applied to the damaged area, and after its complete solidification, mechanical processing is carried out to obtain a cylindrical surface. Then, using special equipment, threading is performed.
