Projects of houses made of aerated concrete measuring 6 by 8 m are very interesting and relevant today. Having studied the features of the house plan with a front entrance and other options, having thought through all the options correctly, you can make the right choice. Particular attention should be paid to the layout of houses on 2 floors.

Advantages and disadvantages

The construction of houses from aerated concrete began in the first half of the twentieth century, so its use has been studied very well.

It is cheaper to build such a dwelling than structures made of timber or traditional reinforced concrete, brick or innovative building materials.

The gas block is environmentally friendly, does not have any pronounced background radiation. It contains only natural mineral components that do not pose a danger to people and do not even create any inconvenience. Aerated concrete does not have to be insulated.

By default, it contains a lot of air, which, as you know, is a first-class heat insulator (only vacuum is better). Gas blocks are large, which allows:

  • to reduce the cost of pouring foundations;
  • work pretty fast;
  • refuse to use lifting machines.

The building configuration is very flexible. Aerated concrete is well processed. Therefore, it can be used for a complex break or even an arch.

However, one must understand that the use of this material must be carefully thought out and calculated. Already the construction of three-storey buildings from one aerated concrete is unacceptable.

It is worth considering that its load-bearing characteristics are inversely proportional to heat losses. That is, the warmer a particular block, the less its reliability as a building product (and vice versa). Another important factor: even blocks laid strictly according to the technology crack (this applies to 20% of all products).

It is impossible to refuse to finish the aerated concrete house, because otherwise it will damp even with slight bad weather.

Finishing should not be done as you like, but strictly in a certain order - from internal work to external, and not vice versa. A ventilated façade can be created, but fixing it creates a number of difficulties. A poorly fixed facade can simply fall off gradually. Therefore, gypsum plaster is considered the best option (simple does not work). It is necessary to deliberately break the smoothness of the walls, additionally process them so that the plaster mixtures are retained.

Aerated concrete contains lime. It negatively affects the metal elements of the masonry and steel or cast iron pipes. This effect is further enhanced by some adhesives.

The gas block is also quite fragile, you need to handle it carefully.

As for the area 6 by 8 m, it is:

  • allows you to build a house in a short time;
  • quite suitable with skillful use, even for families of 4-5 people;
  • reduces the cost of construction;
  • makes it possible to save on housing and communal services;
  • provides external beauty and compactness of the structure;
  • usually allows you to do without strengthening the foundation.

Projects of one-story houses

In a house of 6x8 m, it is quite possible to provide a convenient layout. Hundreds of projects of such buildings have already been developed - and many of them are quite good to take at least as a basis for the formation of your individual idea. Thanks to adjustments in the placement of partitions, it is possible to change the organization of the internal space.

In a clean one-story house, the premises will be small, but quite cozy, therefore such an inexpensive solution is very popular.

It is not worth considering constructions with an attic here, because they are beyond the scope of discussion. Adjustment of finished projects, which is important, is possible only to the extent that it does not interfere with the functioning of communications and other infrastructure.

Traditionally, a small house is limited to one front entrance. This is the simplest and most obvious solution. But for reasons of convenience and safety, it is still advisable to provide additional places for leaving the house. This is especially important if there is a vegetable garden, leisure area or playground in the backyard.

They try to leave the living room or dining room on the terrace or in the winter garden. You can go to the secondary parts of the local area through:

  • kitchen;
  • pantry;
  • end of the corridor;
  • garage attached to the house.

Layout of the house in 2 floors

Two-story housing (both full-fledged and attic) is recommended for families of 3-5 people. It is not that expensive compared to a one-story one. But it turns out much more practical and more convenient than it.

If we are talking about a large family with many children, then the choice is already clear - a full-fledged second floor is necessary.

The main nuances are as follows:

  • the arrangement of basements and cellars requires the use of a strip foundation (no other will work);
  • when using stoves or fireplaces, they need separate points of support;
  • the first tier of the building is usually occupied by an entrance hall;
  • to the left of the hallway and from the stairs there is a bathroom;
  • the second floor is mainly allocated for the kitchen-living room (for sanitary reasons, it should be farther from the entrance to the floor);
  • in addition to the kitchen-living room on the second tier there is a place for a hall, a couple of bedrooms and a dressing room.
