Here, the kitchen-living room is effectively zoned: a translucent partition-partition divides this room into a dining-living room with an area of ​​21.8 m2.

The kitchen, excluding kitchen furniture and sanitary ware, for which the L-shaped strip of space is allocated, remains 6.8 m2. There is a 2.9 m2 pantry adjacent to the kitchen. All three compartments form one even rectangle. The vestibule is allocated 3.5 m2, the hall - 5.8. Bedrooms - 10.7, 14.2 and 11.2 m2. The combined bathroom is 5.4 m2, which may not allow installing, for example, a washing machine there. In the bedrooms and the vestibule there is a place for a wardrobe. An outside terrace adjoins the dining-living room.

One of the alternatives to the above plan is the following. The rectangle in the summer cottage, taking into account the blind area, under the foundation of the house takes 9.18 * 13.4 m. Bedrooms 13.1, 16.1 and 14.2 m2 coexist. However, there is one combined and one more "highly specialized" (only with a washstand and a toilet) bathrooms - 6 and 1.9 m2. The hall is divided into a couple of segments - 3.5 and 5 m2, and the vestibule is 3.3 m2.

The living-dining room and the kitchen are zoned similarly to the previous version, this time they amounted to 28.8 and 9 (excluding the strip for a full kitchen set) sq. m. Pantry in the kitchen - 3.3 m2. The house has a porch. There is an adjoining terrace or a place for a canopy that goes beyond the outer border of the blind area from one of the corners. In general, both options overlap with each other.

With two bedrooms

The three bedrooms in the first of the previous examples in the previous example can be easily converted into two, actually changing their sizes. Two small bedrooms of 10.7 and 14.2 m2 can be connected to make one huge. This option is suitable for couples who, for example, have one child: his mother and father sleep in the big one, and he himself in the small one.

This option is attractive because the "double" bedroom is a single rectangle on the plan - and not a cut, even polygon, parts of which are two other rectangles. The door to the former room of 14.2 m2 is being built up - and to the next one is being expanded. You can make an arched entrance - as the interior preferences of the future owners will allow.

If we consider the second project, then the partition between the hall segments is demolished. As in the previous example, I combine large bedrooms - 16.1 and 13.1 m2 into one large, small bathroom is completely demolished and dismantled - for a married couple, it is practically not needed. Of course, you can act more democratic in relation to children, if, for example, there are two or four of them - give them this huge bedroom, and move into a smaller one ourselves.

Let's take the first of the above options. Actually, this space is not quite an attic - there are no additional side slopes located at an angle of 80 degrees to the earth's horizon. With terrace

The easiest way is to terrace the house around the perimeter. The terrace can be located in the form of capital covered, unglazed awnings, or it can be fully equipped - in the image and likeness of glazed balconies in apartment buildings. To expand the existing terrace, you will need to supplement the foundation by completing it in the right place, like for a garage or outbuilding, which would be directly adjacent to the house.

The existing foundation will not suffer if it has shrunk together with the house - other, new segments of it are being completed next to it, then a blind area is completed along the perimeter.

Part of the existing blind area can be used as a base plate, along the course of the superstructure, refilling it over the area of ​​the adjacent extension.

Having prepared the base, the terrace is mainly - the frame, windows, sections of the walls that are not occupied by panoramic window structures, are built from reinforcement, ordinary and professional pipes, sheathed with wood. Between the outer and inner lining, layers of waterproofing and insulation are laid - for example, mineral wool or foam. The area of ​​the terrace can be any - and its height coincides with the height of the main floor.

For instance, if the house has an elongated plan - 6 * 18 m, then it is advisable to arrange the bedrooms behind the kitchen-living room, like rooms in a one-story private hotel. A bathroom and other service premises are located closer to the end. Three bedrooms measuring 4 * 4 m (16 m2) will be the best option.
