Houses measuring 3 by 6 meters are a great place for one or two people to live exclusively in summer cottages. They can be equipped for both summer and year-round use.

Features of the

Previously, suburban mini-houses were built mainly from bricks. The classic of country house construction in accordance with GOST and Soviet SNiP standards is a strip-monolithic foundation, reinforced with smooth reinforcement with a diameter of 10 … 14 mm. The concrete grade is the most durable, used, for example, for organizing partitions in apartment buildings, even with a modern bump stop you cannot break it right away. And they did not save on cement - the buildings were ready to stand for almost a whole century, without receiving any significant damage, except for cracks from the tectonic activity of rocks and layers of soil under this structure. They did not require any special and major care. The most budgetary way is to pull the already built structure in the corners with a corner profile 7 mm thick, 7x7 cm. The brick was used clay, corpulent, without voids, which made it possible for such a house to stand for many decades. Now these houses are being built of wood, foam and aerated concrete, the foundation on a similar project has remained the same.

You can insulate no worse than a similar house 6x8 m, 12x10 m and buildings of a different, significantly different area from 6x3 m. The most capital houses of this footage are frame houses with concrete pouring, made of brick or foam block.

The layout of the house is simple: on the ground floor there is a vestibule and a bathroom with a kitchen-living room, on the second there is a bedroom. The one-story version is similar to a miniature studio apartment - a space of 6 * 3 m is zoned into a bedroom, a kitchen, but it is difficult to place a shower there, a separate bathhouse attached to the house may be required. This solution goes beyond 18 m2. Enterprising owners, after purchasing a finished building, rebuild a one-story building into a two-story one. The roof is most often single-pitched or gable, since it is worth making a four-pitched roof only in the case of an attic.

Projects overview

There are two of the most popular projects, complemented by a basement if necessary

Internal shower - 1.1 m2, vestibule - 2.5 m2, living room - 11.2 m2. Second floor - bedroom of 13.7 m2. On the site, the project occupies its 18 m2 - along with the walls

Two rooms on the ground floor - the main room and the hall, 9.7 and 5.8 m2, respectively. The shower room is set up in the hall only when the door to the main room is closer to the beginning, and not to the end of the room

It is possible to equip an attic in the form of a mezzanine only when the roof is gable. In practice, when living together, this option is often abandoned, replacing the attic with a full-fledged second floor. An attic for such miniature houses is an unreasonable waste, therefore it is recommended to immediately build a second floor. In this case, the thickness of the walls should be at least one and a half to two bricks - "hundred and fifty". As materials for garden wooden houses - beams, logs and boards. The dacha, on the site of which there is a house made of wood or brick, looks modern even today.

Internal arrangement

The design inside a miniature house can be anything. Most of the typical solutions are wood, plastic and / or composite finishing. For self-builders who prefer to assemble everything with their own hands, wall cladding in the simplest case is done using lining - instead of plastering. This simplifies the decoration and enhances the interior. The walls of a one-story house are built with a thickness of half a brick or one brick - a simple planed board is placed on top from the inside. Then this paneling is covered with a waterproof varnish - it emphasizes the wood grain. To protect against burning, decay and mold before varnishing, fire and bioprotective impregnations are used to exclude damage to the wood.

A house with a terrace requires a change in the plan: you can design the only room on the ground floor as a terrace by building two walls not of wood or brickwork, but of double-glazed windows. It is recommended to take the glass tempered. Even better if it turns out to be armored. The area around houses with a terrace should be surrounded by a two-meter fence.

Some owners of such buildings protect the terrace with bars - like on windows. Before installing double-glazed windows, a reinforced frame is constructed from a thick-walled steel corner and a professional pipe - a person's height or higher. Then the reinforcing grids are welded on it. Double-glazed windows are installed in the resulting rectangles from the inside.

Such a design protects against thieves from entering the house - but breaking glass with the possibility of setting fire by throwing burning combustible materials remains the only significant point that cannot be ignored.

Examples of

As one of the inexpensive examples - the project of the house "Mark" 6x3 m

  1. The house on one floor has a useful area of 20 m2. Does not require a capital strip foundation - it is installed only on columnar-monolithic supports.
  2. The harness is made of sawn timber 10 * 15 cm.
  3. Lags - from a bar 20 * 15 cm.
  4. Frame height - 2.4 m. Made of 4 * 15 cm board. Vapor barrier - external and internal, single-layer. Insulation with mineral wool 10 cm thick. From the inside, the frame is sheathed with clapboard up to 2 cm thick.
  5. Partitions of the first and attic (attic) floors - timber up to 10 cm thick.
  6. Subfloor - edged board up to 2.5 cm thick.
  7. Finishing floor - board up to 3.5 cm.
  8. Ceiling insulation - double-sided vapor barrier with 10 cm mineral wool.
  9. Attic floor - with a height of up to 2.2 m, a construction of a bar with a section of 4 * 10 cm. Clapboard sheathing - the same thickness as on the first floor. Warming and waterproofing are the same.
  10. Rafters - timber 4 * 10 cm, installation step - 60-90 cm.
  11. Subrafter bases (beds, crossbars) - timber 4 * 15 cm, with the same installation step.
  12. Ondulin or profiled sheet roofing, metal tiles.
  13. The ridge of the roof is raised 3.5 m from the attic floor (floor in the attic).
  14. The gables are frame-panel, timber 4 * 15 m, lining with clapboard up to 2 cm thick, steam and heat insulated, as in the previous case. Sheathing of corners, cornices - for protection from summer heat and winter cold.
  15. A wooden staircase at the entrance is a 9 * 13 cm beam, a flooring is a three-centimeter (thick) board.
  16. External door - insulated steel, 86 * 205 cm. Interior doors - wooden, of the same size.
  17. Terrace and balcony are installed separately. They will noticeably change the square of the base - sometimes such structures go beyond the blind area around the building.

The assembly of the structure is carried out in one day. The house is distinguished by simplified construction processes - modular assembly according to the declared scheme. But before its delivery and assembly, the site owner must prepare a place - clear the required rectangle of the site from vegetation and foreign debris.
